Lip Blush

Aftercare.

Wash the treated area 2x a day with a rice grain amount of gentle cleanser. Using your fingertips go in a gentle circular motion, be sure not to disrupt the natural scabbing process. Continue to cleanse 2x daily for at least 6 weeks.

Apply aftercare gel every 2 hours. This will help the lips heal better plus help with dryness.

Blot the lip area. Clear lymph fluid is normal for 1-3 days after a procedure. Gently, blot the area on regular basis until the lips begin to peel (2-3 days after the procedure.)

Do not pick or peel. Allow the scabs that form over the treated area to fall off naturally. Picking will cause the color to heal uneven.

Drink through a straw and use eating utensils for the first few days after the procedure to refrain from food and drinks getting on the lips.

Avoid spicy & oily foods until the lips are done peeling.

Do not wear lipstick or lip gloss on the treated area, as much as this is tempting in the peeling/scabbing phase due to them being splotchy, it can affect the healing of your new lips.

Avoid sleeping directly on your face/lips at night.

Avoid physical activities that cause excessive sweating. This includes long, hot showers & exercising! Sweat can push the pigment out and can cause fading.

Avoid situations where your lips will be exposed to dust and dirt. Keep the lip area clean at all times!

Avoid sun exposure and tanning. This can cause the lips to fade and even discolor!

Avoid having facial treatments/botox/filler in the treated area until lips have healed.

Avoid putting retinoid creams, AHA, BHA, and other exfoliating products on the treated area. These will cause the lips to become irritated and heal uneven.

Please consult your technician and/or a physician if you develop a reaction at any point after the procedure.
