Powder Brows

Aftercare.

Wash the treated area 2x a day with a rice grain amount of gentle cleanser. Using your fingertips go in a gentle circular motion, be sure not to disrupt the natural scabbing process. Continue to cleanse 2x daily for at least 6 weeks.

Apply aftercare gel after every cleanse. Apply enough gel that the area is moisturized but not too much - where the area can’t breathe.

DO NOT PICK THE SCABS. Allow the scabs that form over the treated area to fall off naturally.

Do not touch, scratch, or rub the area that permanent makeup was performed.

Do not wear makeup on the treated area, as much as this is tempting in the peeling/scabbing phase due to them being splotchy, it can affect the healing of your new brows.

Avoid sleeping directly on your face/brows at night. If you must, a silk or satin pillowcase will help avoid too much friction.

Avoid physical activities that cause excessive sweating. Sweat can push the pigment out and can cause fading.

Avoid putting retinoid creams, AHA, BHA, and other exfoliating products on the treated area. These will cause the brows to become irritated and heal uneven.

Avoid situations where your brows will be exposed to dust and dirt. Keep the brow area clean at all times!

Avoid saunas and swimming pools.

Avoid sun exposure and tanning. This can cause the brows to fade and even discolor!

Avoid having facial treatments/botox/filler in the treated area until it has healed.

Please note that powder brows will not be fully healed until at least 8 weeks after the final procedure.

Here is a template to show the healing process!

Most people experience all of these just as shown. Although, some may not heal exactly as this template shows and that’s okay too! Everyone’s body reacts differently; so if you don’t peel or fade during healing, don’t stress! Your brows will be fine too!

Please consult your technician and/or a physician if you develop a reaction at any point after the procedure.
